Meridian Stretching

These are warm-up exercises to prepare the body for collecting energy. There are hundreds of Meridian stretching exercises. In this book, however, we are only introducing the most effective movements for helping the body collect energy. These movements relax the upper body and let the center of the energy come down into the lower abdomen. They  also focus on limbering up the pelvis, which is like a bowl that collects the energy, and the hip joints, which are like energy faucets. Meridian stretching is also utilized as cool down and finishing exercise.

Energy Breathing

A set of breathing postures designed to restore the Water-Up and Fire-Down state to the body. It helps to build energy in the lower abdomen and unblocks the body's two main meridians. Consistent practice of these postures will improve energy accumulation and circulation in the body and stimulate the body's natural healing ability.

Relaxation Meditation

In BodynBrain Yoga, practitioners focus on energy to create the meditative state. They usually begin by focusing on energy between the palms. While increased sensitivity to energy is a definite benefit of this practice, it is not the end goal. Rather, the goal is to help calm an individual's thoughts and emotions, which are the root cause of the stress held in the body. As the sensation of energy practitioners learn to re-create their lives through vision meditation, which infuses the mind with positive thoughts, feelings, and imagery.

Examples of our unique postures & movements

SLEEPING TIGER POSTURE

Sleeping Tiger relieves back pain and allows Ki-energy accumulation in the lower abdomen, the body’s main energy center. It also strengthens the thoracic vertebrae as well as the muscles around the waist and lower body. In addition, the pose also relieves pain in the neck and shoulders, energizes the kidneys, improves the nervous system of the pelvis, and increases circulation and flexibility of the hips and knees

WHOLE BODY TAPPING

With Body Tapping you can cleanse and purify stagnant energy inside your body. It awakens your senses and leaves you feeling refreshed.  Refresh and renew with whole Body Tapping. Wake up your meridian system and release tired, stagnant energy. You can tap any part of your body whenever you feel aches or tension and want to rejuvenate your energy.
